You have found your way to the course website for HIST4391: Topics in History, The Memory and Meaning of the Civil War, a course offered during Spring 2015 at the University of Central Arkansas.  This header image depicts veterans of the 17th Connecticut Infantry at a reunion in 1916, courtesy of this blog post on the subject.  This regiment served at Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, and during the assault on Fort Wagner, among other assignments.
